The Excel Series Cooled Cameras are CCD digital firewire cameras that employ a hermetically vacuum sealed cooling system to maintain stringent temperature stability to ensure a high dynamic range, low noise image. They are assembled in an ISO rated clean room to ensure a pristine condition for viewing scientific images. The thoughtful design enables optical interface to the industry standard C-mount and single-cable connection to a PC for ease of use.
